105 teams signed up to participate in TmT 2012. It's nice to see that players are coming from all over the world. TmTournament decided not to let only 96 teams participate, but to create 18 groups so all teams can be part of this event. The consequence is that not all teams that finish second in the group will continue to the knock-out phase:
- The 18 teams that finish 1st go directly to the knock-out.
- The 14 best teams that finish 2nd go to the knock-out.*

*Determined based on: Average points per match (# Points/#Matches). If this isn't decisive Average map-points difference per match.

This means that now the result on each map is even more important than in previous years.

After two days of voting the winner is known. The TmT management was quite surprised by the diversity of the judgments. That some video’s received a rating lower than a 5 is quite strange, although our wish for fair judgment, is a pity. Luckily because high ratings on the other hand the final scores aren’t that odd. The voting of the TmT fanatics doesn’t deviate much from the TmT management.
